Abstract : In this talk, we consider the propagation of waves in acoustic waveguides which are unbounded in one direction. Playing with thin resonant ligaments, we explain how to create devices which can be interesting for applications. More precisely, we show how one can use them to cloak given obstacles, to create modal converters or to design energy distributors. We also present how thin resonant ligaments can be exploited to enhance absorption in dissipative waveguides to achieve zero reflection. Mathematically, these studies rely on results of asymptotic analysis in thin domains. The main idea is to play with complex resonances to control scattering properties of the structures.
