Abstract: You want to know what’s happening in the big metallic box (otherwise named a faradized anechoic chamber) in the hall of the Fermi building at IUSTI. You can not wait to know what the microwave analogy is. Or maybe you just want to know how MIMOSA can, for example, help astrophysicists to understand how planets are formed, or how comets and asteroids are composed. This talk will try to give you some answers, by telling you stories about the diffraction/scattering of electromagnetic waves.
