Abstract: We will cover the evolution of intraventricular Vector Flow Mapping (iVFM) for echocardiography, a technique for intracardiac flow vectors from standard color Doppler images. We will begin with the original physics-based 2D method and its progression to 3D flow analysis. The focus will then shift to the integration of artificial intelligence, accelerating its path into clinical software for improved assessment of cardiac function.
